What is the purpose of this platform?
This platform serves as a human capital development database connecting individuals in Gokana to skill development sponsors, training, and career-building opportunities.
Who can register?
- Beneficiary or Mentee: Gokana indigenes from aged 15-45 seeking empowerment resources, training, and opportunities for growth and development.
- Benefactor or Mentor: Individuals from Gokana and organizations willing to support human capital development by providing sponsorship links, training, and resources.
- Gokana Indigenes in the Diaspora: Gokana indigenes living abroad who want to contribute to Gokana’s growth by providing access to empowerment programmes and supporting future leaders
Is registration free?
Yes, registration is free. However, some professional trainings and certification programs may have subsidized fees.
How do I connect with a Benefactor or Career Mentor?
Once registered, you will be matched with opportunities based on your skills and career needs.
How secure is my data?
We implement Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) Certificate Encryption, Two-factor Authentication, and Daily Backups to ensure maximum security for all users.
Can I update my profile after signing up?
Yes, users can log in anytime to edit and update the unrestricted fills, like signing up with Secondary School Certificate as the highest level of education and two years later you have your first degree. However, there are restricted fills that cannot be updated like areas development needs for Beneficiaries or areas of strength for the Benefactors within the first three years of signing up.
Who manages this platform?
The platform is managed by Gokana Human Capital Development Management Team to be appointed by the Local Government Council.
